At the moment of teaching practicum, everyone had had their own experiences including how to teach English, how to communicate with pupils, what type of students they are, how to prepare for the lessons as well. For the beginning of practicum, we faced lots of problem such as how to teach English to different ages of students, how to make lesson plans as we have brief knowledge but not so deep. Yet the most complicated issue was preparing for the lessons which require creative thinking of students. Since every lesson needs different kind of activities and it should not be repeated. In luckily by surfing the internet we had almost solved most of our problems. Likewise the happiest things of teaching practicum were encouragement of pupils and eventually we were adjusting the situation. Here are some advices of teaching practicum:
- Get up early and prepare the class well
- Encourage the students as much as you can
- Prepare visual aids enough
- Organize your time management well
- Prefer group and pair work than individual
- Prepare additional possibilities
- Be confident
